In 2018, Lex’s life changed forever when she lost her precious mother. As she was navigating the waves of grief, she found herself searching for something that could bring comfort, connection, and healing. Her mother had always adored jewelry - you could hear her before you saw her, her bracelets softly chiming together as she walked into a room. Friends and family often remarked on this signature sound, a joyful part of her presence.
Inspired by this memory, Lex began making beaded bracelets as a personal form of therapy. Each bead, each color choice, became a quiet way to honor her mom and keep her spirit close. What started as a deeply personal creative outlet quickly grew—friends and loved ones began to notice and request pieces.
By 2020, Lex launched Love by Lex. A thriving jewelry brand and a living tribute to her mother. Every beaded bracelet in the collection is named after someone truly special in Lex’s life, with designs inspired by the personality, memories, and meaning that person holds for her. Each piece carries not just beauty, but a story.
